The pretty two bedroom Grooms Cottage at The Old Parsonage is the perfect holiday home for small families or couples looking to escape to the Devon countryside. This quaint, character cottage, which can accommodate up to four guests has two good sized bedrooms, a large living room and a well-equipped kitchen. It also benefits from its own private, fully enclosed walled garden.
*Please note Grooms Cottage is unable to welcome dogs, however, dogs may be staying in the main house, The Old Parsonage. Car parking for all properties is by the main house.
Guests arriving at Grooms Cottage will enter into the warm and cosy living room, which has two leather sofas, a fireplace and a smart TV. A dining table to seat four is neatly placed to one side of the room.
Off the living room is the well-equipped kitchen, which also had a table to seat up to four. The kitchen that overlooks the walled garden is fitted with a fridge, an electric oven with hob, a dishwasher, a washing machine and a fridge.
The first bedroom at Grooms Cottage is up a few small steps from the living area. This character bedroom is a good size double.
The second bedroom at Grooms Cottage is located at the end of the corridor and features two full size single beds.
The family bathroom is situated between the two bedrooms. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower overhead, a wash basin and a WC.
Grooms Cottage has a delightful, private garden, which is fully enclosed by a period wall. As well as a nice gently sloped lawn area, the garden has an area for seating, a BBQ and table for alfresco dinners.
